I had some thoughts on IC sign-ups for AEGIS. It seems like there's been some communication problems in the past with people not being sure how or where to inject their characters into the plot. Maybe the best way to do it is to have the OOC sign up and tell anyone who replies exactly where to tag to ICly sign up.
IC we could say our hacker/tech genius characters sent out an unhackable message to all refugees inviting anyone who wants to help to contact AEGIS, and giving an anonymous, untraceable contact number. The unhackable message can be an open post, and the tags can be their characters contacting AEGIS via the contact number.
Any member of AEGIS can answer the message by one of us replying to the tag. That doesn't put the burden all on one character to be the contact and maybe it will build some new CR too. We'd just have to keep an eye on the post and make sure all tags get answered by someone.
We could do this anytime, and maybe the pirate plot can be AEGIS' next big mission?
