THORVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!!!!!!
Hey everybody!
How're you all doing? Good? Good!
Okay so, just to make sure we're all on the same page, here's a quick recap of the latest plot. This includes information that, as of this writing is NOT available to any of the characters. I'll be sure to differentiate so we know what's what!
Now that we have that out of the way (any questions, and I'll be happy to answer them!) there is a nice little proposition that's come out of this that, while not initially intended, worked out REALLY nicely!
So, who here knows about The Avengers? You know, that movie that's not very well known and may have attracted some mainstream attention over the past couple of weeks. It's based on this comic book that nobody really cares about. It's okay if you don't, it's not that big of a deal.
Well, after this latest plot, a very nice point was brought up: The Thor is going to need a group of Good Guys to keep the Purists and crazies at bay. With the way things have been going thus far, everyone has been too splintered and relatively ineffective against the real threat. And seeing how well the Avengers, Normandy Crew, and a few other people worked together against Loki, there's going to be a meeting with everyone. Eventually, our goal is to ICly have an even bigger team opened up to other players/characters.
Now what does this mean for us?
Obviously, it wouldn't be fair to push anybody into doing something they don't want to, ICly or OOCly, so this is going to be a plot post to go over a few different things, since the first meeting will understandably handwaved. Once we hammer out those details, I'll make a recap post so we're all on the same page again.

- Loki is a poop and destroyed about two blocks worth of lower-income, not-quite-slummy area.
- While it looked like a temper tantrum thrown by Daddy's Second Favorite, it actually served a legit purpose! You see, Team Sabotage wound up winning the 'The General' story arc, and therefore broke him out of Normal!Police prison. Noiz, a newcomer to the plot, worked on the actual break out, while Jim Moriarty worked as an escort. <-- NOT KNOWN JUST YET
- The General is no longer on the ship-- this is going to leak sometime soon. Hopefully. Gotta work out a couple of details there.
- There were NO casualties NPC or PC; Also, PC housing wasn't affected.
- Why did they do this? Shits and giggles, mostly.

- Risk assessment of the Thor. Does it need a team of Do-Gooders to keep it safe? (The answer is 'YES' if it weren't obvious)
- Who wants to be involved in the actual team. Everyone who's been propositioned will have time to think about it before another huge get together to give their answers.
- Whether or not to let other people know/open the doors for newcomers who want to play hero. (This will eventually happen, and the ooc stuff will be taken care of by Xy/
- Anything else you think should be brought up? Let it be known in the comments!
We also want to confirm:
- Who actually wants a part in the Thorvengers (TITLE PENDING). If you feel your character wouldn't be a part of the group, whether or not they're a part of the Normandy Crew, or if YOU don't want to be involved as a player, it is PERFECTLY ALL RIGHT to say no!
- Who would react to whom, and how-- we unfortunately don't really have the time/means to coordinate a logged meeting with so many people, so handwaving things would probably be the best.
- Anything your character can bring to the table. For example, Garrus will probably bring up previous attempts to get people together for anti-Purist talks and also his vigilante work down in the slums. This is a great time for any and all characters to bring information to the table!
- Again, anything else you can think of!
