 Okay, so this is again related to the awesomesauce plot we have going on.

While Joker is captured, we were planning on having him bluff the Purists so that they stop beating on him long enough for him to get a message to Jim.  I was thinking last night in between watching EMH goddammit that show is addictive that Joker would try to bluff them into thinking that the Normandy crew is just part of a larger refugee organization, and that the Purists have been going after small fry rather than the real threat.  He would be trying to send them onto a wild goose chase to take some of the heat off of the Normandy crew, because even if the Purists don't completely believe him, it would be important enough that they would expend time and resources trying to figure out its veracity.  I wanted to run this by everyone because Ant mentioned that if we go this route, the Purists will attack more in general.  So it's a bit of a double-edged sword, but I thought it might have some potential for future plotting!

So yeah, I wanted to run it by everyone because it kind of might affect everyone.  Thoughts?

I'm all for having a reinforced assault-- putting the Purists on the offensive opens up a lot of potential for future plot stuff/arcs/etc.!

Aria is more or less just watching shit go by right now and i'm sitting here waiting for the 30th to come around so i can have Aria team up with Wrex and destroy Kamui. i want to be in this more but haven't really found a way to without forcing her in.

they could come for her, (since she's putting her nose in where it shouldn't be 90% of the time) and she would be an obvious suspicious figure head. she's getting support quickly and knows things she shouldn't and is a force to be reckoned with.

if they attack her, not only would she be more willing to help Normandy get Joker back AND AVENGE EVE!! but they would have a ruthless commando warrior goddess on their side instead of just neutral until she decides to make her stance a bit more clear rather than blurred lines up to this point because of her less-than-ideal communications with NPC purist supporters

I'm all for it. o/ Btw, I was thinking of giving "skin jobs" via hologenerators to some droids so they look like certain refugees. Of course they won't be perfect. Their personalities will have kinks etc etc. Would this be useful for decoys and stuff? ._.

I think that sounds like a great idea! They could definitely come in handy.

I think if we go this route, we'll have to get more creative with things ;o

idk but I like this idea, gives everyone a chance to get out there and go against the Purists even more.
