MOAR PLOTTING GOODNESS
Okay so since our cast is getting so large, Shepard is going to hold a meeting to get everyone up to speed about everything that has been going on.
Like how there's two Shepard's now, alternate universes and about Illusive Man being on the Thor as well. Stuff like that, and what they're up against etc etc whatever you want to happen I guess.
and the crew can ask questions and just IDK THAT STUFF
anyone have any input or whatever. 8|
I don't know when this log should go up
I SHOULD GO.
SHEEPI WHY DIDN'T YOU POST THIS INSTEAD, I SUCK AT THESE THINGS

I'm up for a log if other people are! But I'd prefer to handwave it if possible!

His whole logic right now towards TIM is sort of how he saw Saren near the end. Good intentions and all, but obviously shit didn't work out that way. Sheploo also happened to choose pretty much the same ending that TIM wanted, though for different reasons of course.
Anyways, though they didn't see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, TIM did have some good points about things that (renegade) Shep agreed with. Right now he's mostly buying his time, trying to figure out TIM's motivations and goals (WHICH IS ALWAYS FUCKING HARD) while also doing what he can to control TIM in his own way, which is to sorta maybe work with him eventually.
It's all for his SQUAD. He doesn't want TIM fucking with them :I

This is probably a silly question, but do you think that's something he'd bring up? That is, the whole "WELL HE WAS BATSHIT BUT HE HAD A POINT HERE..." thing?

My Shep believes in the pro-human part of Cerberus but not the anti-alien part obviously (he let the council die and he chose Udina as ambassador, and he's Earthborn). I actually have a really big headcanon post planned soon.
Yeah, Shep isn't a space-racist at all. Hell, his squad is #1 to him, Garrus is like his top bro, and he's in love with Liara. So when I say there things he agreed on with TIM about, I mean the pro-human side of things and the desire to secure a top position for humanity in the universe. That obviously took a backseat to saving the galaxy from the Reapers, but yeah.
I'm tl;dr'ing shit.
If the meeting happened, he'd probably stay quiet on his opinion of TIM until/unless the others spoke up like "OH FUCK HIM HE IS EVIL HE HAS NEVER DONE ANY GOOD" and mentioned specific things. Probably the biggest thing Shepard would say (and I am paraphrasing obviously) is something like, "Where was the Council and everyone else when the Collectors were wiping out human colonies and selling us out to the Reapers? Who brought me back to life and gave me the resources needed to stop them? Like him or not he got the job done when nobody else even cared." Obviously Shep is an Alliance man through and through, but his top loyalty is always to the mission, his squad, and the safety of the galaxy.

Which, incidentally, is exactly what Shepard is trying to do: figure out what's going on so they can either work with TIM or not. If Shep finds out TIM is just up to no good, he will insist on being the person who puts a bullet in the guy's head.
Of course, Sheploo's opinion and Jane's opinion on exactly what constitutes as "no good" might be different ;) so we'll have to see how that goes.

Anyway, I see this as a perfectly fair point for Sheploo to bring up in conversation. Like you said, we'd need a consensus (hurr hurr) on what the overall crew reaction would be before we can breach the subject, but it'd definitely be something where ICly, we'd have to bring it to a vote. That is, on the topic on whether or not to trust TIM temporarily to feel him out. And from there, we should decide how the characters will react.
For example, Garrus here appreciated the extra resources and the fact that TIM clearly wanted nothing but the best for humanity (and, by proxy, Shepard), so he'd probably be okay with this plan.
THOUGHTS? EVERYBODY?
